The University of the Philippines Diliman (UP Diliman) proudly announced that it has ranked first in the April 2023 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination, administered by the Board of Electronics Engineering, with an impressive passing rate of 87.5%. The university would like to congratulate all the passers, particularly its graduates from the UP Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute, as well as the highest-ranking passers from UP Diliman.
The successful UP Diliman passers, namely John Vincent Azcarraga Portugal, Moises Angelo Quiming Sanchez, and Constantine Nicolai Uy Tan, secured the 4th, 8th, and 9th spots, respectively. This achievement highlights the excellence of UP Diliman in the field of Electronics Engineering and its commitment to producing exceptional graduates.
A total of 2,935 candidates took the Electronics Engineers Licensure Examination, with 983 passing, while 2,227 took the Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination, with 1,641 passing. The results were released just three (3) working days after the last day of the examination.
