We celebrate the invaluable achievements of Dr. Manolo G. Mena (of the UP Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering) and Dr. Guillermo Q. Tabios III (of the UP Institute of Civil Engineering), two most distinguished professors, colleagues, mentors, and friends to many of the members and constituents of the UP College of Engineering, and to the country in their respective fields.
