The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) College of Engineering proudly announces its exceptional performance in the April 2023 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination, achieving a remarkable 100% passing rate. This outstanding achievement reflects the unwavering commitment and dedication of UPD’s UP Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute and its graduates to excellence in the field of electrical engineering.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the successful examinees who passed the April 2023 Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination. Among the accomplished individuals, we proudly recognize the highest-ranking passer from UP Diliman, Mr. Charles Vincent Soriano Arandia, who secured the 9th spot.
We also greet and congratulate UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-industrial Technology’s graduates and highest ranking passers from UPLB: Lance Patrick Cadiz Alarcon (Rank 3), and Mark Jayson Ilao Salud (Rank 6)
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) disclosed that a total of 5,771 candidates undertook the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination, while 2,336 aspiring professionals participated in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination. The results reveal that 3,339 candidates successfully passed the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination, and 986 individuals triumphed in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination. These exams were administered across multiple locations, including N. C. R., Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
