Friends, fellow servants of the people, colleagues in our beloved UP College of Engineering:

Warmest greetings and happy new year to everyone! We hope you all enjoyed your vacations and your well-deserved breaks.

First and foremost, UP College of Engineering welcomes everyone to another year. As always, let us give 2022 our best shot by embracing our responsibilities with renewed hope and vigor.

Second, let us also ensure the continued practice of minimum health protocols to continue providing efficient services. Last year, our beloved College pulled through because of our collective efforts and vigilance in complying with the minimum health protocols against COVID-19. Let us continue our best practices as we venture into 2022.

NCR recently experienced a dramatic rise in the number of infected cases. One of our methods to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 is by making the minimum health protocols, as advised by theDepartment of Health, our priority as we go back to work. May “ligtas na pagbabalik sa trabaho” be our target. At the minimum, this includes the advised proper wearing of face masks, maintaining one (1) meter physical distancing, and frequent hand-washing and disinfecting, especially in the workplace.

Let us thread another year safely and full of hope. Once again, a happy new year to everyone!

Padayon at mabuhay tayong lahat.
