Submission
- To join the College-wide competition, participants must prepare a written abstract and a 5-8 minute video that describes their work in the most concise and effective manner, keeping in mind the evaluation criteria previously mentioned. Submissions in excess of the 8-minute limit will be disqualified.
- Participants will submit internally and directly to their respective units. Please follow the instructions provided within your home academic unit.
- Department chairs and institute directors will endorse and submit their respective entries, using submission forms and folders to be provided by the Associate Dean for Research.
- In addition to the submitted forms, abstract and video, finalists selected by the College Executive Board will be required to prepare a poster for their final presentation to the Final Judging Panel. Considering the relatively short span of time between the announcement of the finalists (July 14) and the final judging round (July 18), we strongly suggest that participants prepare posters in advance. Financial support may be provided to finalists for poster printing and other presentation logistics that may be needed in the final round.
