The UPD College of Engineering and the UP National Engineering Center invites you to the Engineering Public Policy Lecture Series Webinar on Shaping the Mining Industry Landscape: a Cursory Regulatory Impact Assessment, which will examine the effects of institutional decisions and current government policies, as well as evaluate possible outcomes of initiatives. This event is primarily aimed at policymakers and decision-makers.
Additionally, the Public Policy Lecture aims to provide a forum for discussion among the industry, academia, and the government on critical national issues and policies. It also aims to increase public understanding of the importance of engineering and science, as well as their critical roles in improving the lives of everyday people.Professor Eligia D. Clemente of the UP Department of Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering will be the keynote presenter at this webinar. Additionally, there will be government and industry leaders serving as panelists at the event:
